ABOUT US

Picture
We integrate applied psychology with developmental cognitive neuroscience  to promote optimal outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental disorders  and their families. By integrating multiple behavioral and biological markers of development, our goal is to identify predictors of risk and resilience in clinical populations during infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Our questions include:

- How can we integrate clinical and experimental methods (e.g. psychophysiology, cortisol, eye tracking) to study typical and atypical development?

- What novel methods can be developed to better conceptualize and predict complex comorbidities (e.g. autism, anxiety, ADHD) in children with neurodevelopmental disorders?

- How can we develop sensitive, low-cost, and scalable measures for diagnosing atypical development and monitoring response to interventions, particularly for clinical trials?

- How can we better empower parents to engage as active partners in research, particularly in specialized or underserved populations?
